Thanks for taking an interest and looking at this page. You see, the only reason I put up this page is because I am quickly running out on bandwidth even though I have so many wonderful sponsors. Right now Digik is getting more than 1500 unique visitors per day, and since most of the site is running of MySQL databases, the bandwidth pull is getting its share. Almost all the images are hosted elsewhere, sometimes I even need to host the main pictures for Digik in order to not run out of bandwidth.
Now you may ask me what kind of plan I have, well I spent about $100 a year to keep both my domains: digik.net and nocturnalsky.com (which is my porfolio and custom design site), the hosting plan only comes with 1GB storage and 15GB bandwidth; but the server is stable, and I'm not risking losing everything again, that's why I'm staying firm with them. I know, the resources are pretty pathetic huh? So right now I am trying to get a job so I can get a bigger plan, and maybe then I'll be able to relax a bit more because right now I have to check the cpanel a couple of times per week, you can see a printscreen below:
So my plan is to earn enough money to be able to upgrade my current plan to one with 4.5GB storage and 40GB bandwidth, that'll be a nifty $160 / year including domain extensions. I am working on the site very hard as I am the only webmistress. If you have some extra money and would really like to help Digik out, please donate, a small amount will improve it by a lot. Even if you don't it's all right, just drop a comment in the guestbook to let me know that you appreciate what I do, and that'll be enough to put a silly smile on my face for the entire day.
