Q: After I download the layout, I don't know what to do!
A: When you download a layout, it usually comes in a zip or rar file. They have to use Winzip or Winrar to open because it's a compressed file. After opening them, my layout always have a .css file, images and a index.html. Open up notepad or whatever you use to edit HTML and change the variables in it according to instruction. If you are using a site builder like Geocities then upload everything to your host and edit the index.html in the editing tool they have.

Q: Can I alter your layout to fit my host?
A: If you are using Asianavenue, Xanga, or other blogging hosts that require you to change the layout, I personally won't let you do that. But, there's also compromises, if you did alter my layout in anyway, you MUST retain the credit at the proper places, and email me to tell me your URL for the changes.

Q: Can I use your layout?
A: Interesting enough, I've been asked this question over 20 times. The answer is yes! Of course you can use the layouts/graphics on the site! That's why they are linkware. The only condition I want is for you to give me proper credit - retain the link back to my site.

Q: Can you make me a layout?
A: The answer is no! As you can see I barely have time to work on my own site and making quality layouts to keep it going. So I won't have time to make you a custom layout. However I am considering to open a custom layout shop so interested people can buy a custom-made, 100% quality layout at a small fee.

Q: Is it okay if my layout looks "very similar" to one of yours?
A: No of course not! Don't give me all that "inspiration" c%@p because I've had enough of people not giving credit when it's due! I made these layouts 100% from scratch, and if you want an original layout, then do so yourself. Don't take others work, change a word on it or something minor and claim it as yours.

Q: My host won't let me have images hosted, can I link to yours?
A: No! Have you never heard of the term "stealing bandwidth"? If you type in http://_ with the image hosted on another site and puts that on your site, it's stealing the bandwidth of the original host. Right now you don't need to do that because of the booming industry of free image hosting sites. A good example is Photobucket.com , you can get your images hosted there and direct link to it with a clean conscience.

Q: What do you use to make your layouts?
A: I use Photoshop CS along with Animation Shop 3.0 for some gif works.

Q: What is a linkware layout?
A: A layout is a set of images, html codings that sets the basis for a website. It varies in sizes, shape and coding. Linkware is a term for free layout usage with the permission of the author. If the artist put the layouts in the "Linkware" section, then you are fine to take it and use it on your website. But there's one rule to linkware layouts, you MUST keep the credit the artist preserved on the layout. They worked hard to make it for others to use, the least the user can pay respect is by keeping the link back to the artist's site.

Q: Will you help me setting up a layout?
A: The question is no. I cannot, and have no time to help everyone. Different host meets different needs, and I don't have the patience enough to sort through every one of them. You can probably ask your friend or someone from other graphic sites to help.
